Turner will be making a detour from Vegas to Southridge Park in Fontana, instead of heading straight home with their demo fleet. Next, they will load a truck with 06 DHRs. Each size model will have one. There will be 60 bikes total. The bikes will be on display from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. on Saturday, October 1. Don Jackson, Southridge promoter, who just won the expert category in the Mammoth Kamikaze Downhill will be showing off many skill-specific downhill runs. The shuttle will remain in operation throughout the day.
Southridge is the ideal place to host a dirt demo day. Cross-country riding is plentiful. There are stretches of technical riding on both single- and dual-tracks, as well as white knuckle descents or quad-burning climbs. You can also play on the dirt jumps or stunt obstacles that are lower in the park, if you prefer.
Take a ride in the factory for a day. First, have a Turner mechanic dial in the Nitrous for you. After you have mastered singletrack, you can switch to a DHR. The bike will again be tuned to your specifications. You can then take advantage of the shuttle to access the many downhill options. You won’t ever need to use a wrench for the rest of your day. You can just ride, ride and ride.
